Ancient dead soldier

I worked with my friend’s idea of a character, that he created for his world.
Once a mighty warrior in ancient times. Now a walking corpse roaming the earth. At least his funeral mask stayed intact so the children won’t start screaming from his appearance…
After his defeat, festive burial was held. A burning arrow was supposed to hit the floating boat and turn his body into dust. Nobody could predict that a mighty storm would jeopardise his promised peace. Throughout his life he was helping people in need. Apparently even death could not stop him from continuing…
